Planning a winter getaway? There are some great options to can select from, but keep in mind that, while winter tends to be low season for most destinations, the time around Christmas and New Year’s jumps into peak season territory, with nearly every hotel and resort on the planet hiking up its rates. The restaurants, cafes, and bars too charge premium prices. But the good news is that there are some amazing winter escapes that can be affordable. Here are some of them.
