Cancun: History, Fun and Beaches for All
The Yucatan Peninsula is one of the most attractive areas of Mexico and one of its most famous destinations is Cancun. Mexico’s second most used airport, Cancun International Airport, is located right in Cancun and has flights coming in from every part of the globe. This makes Cancun accessible and one of the first places to choose from when coming from far away.
Cancun is renowned for its beaches, nightlife and Mayan attractions. Excursions to El Rey, to the different cenotes in the area; and Nichupte Lagoon for jungle tours and water sports are offered daily. If you don’t want to spend a day site-seeing you can always spend it at the beach. White sand and blue-green water will hypnotize you and when you’re done relaxing a walk downtown will continue to enchant and entertain you.
Cancun seems to be a nice place to have a family vacation since it is so close to the sea. I think that this is one of the places that Mexico is proud of.
Visiting an old civilization like the Mayan ruins might be the best experience that you could get from Cancun.
Cancun has, literally, the best beaches I’ve ever been on. But it can get a bit crowded if you go during spring break or the winter.
If you’re willing to stand the heat, summer time is the best time to go to beat the crowds.
