Two of Sri Lanka’s Most Visited Spots

When tourists visit Sri Lanka they have the opportunity to experience the ancient culture, Sinhalese and Tamil, as well as the British colonial and western world ones.
Colombo and Anuradhapura, two of the most visited cities here, offer an oriental vacation filled with bazaars, ancient monuments and Lankan ruins. Colombo gives city lovers the opportunity to stay in an environment they are accustomed too; but still filled with monuments, museums and street bazaars that make you aware of being in another country.
Anuradhapura is perfect for ancient civilization explorers due to its vicinity to the ancient Lankan ruins where people admire dagobas, monastic buildings and tanks that were once used for bathing or drinking water.
Besides site-seeing and discovery Sri Lanka also offers tourists beach and sports vacations (Surf, diving, sailing, fishing), making a vacation there enjoyable for all types of travelers.

Srilanka stands for enticing sea beaches, magnificent lagoons, wonderful forests, mountains rich with the music of waterfalls, plenty of wildlife. Srilanka stands for Buddhists and Hindus, and again Srilankans and Tamils. Now, the civil war has ended. One can happily go for an elephant-ride over stretches of eye-catching landscapes.
